Description du projet:
In March 2007, the acid gas injection project was commissioned to replace the pre-existing sulphur recovery unit. Had Suncor not implemented an acid gas injection project, the most likely alternative would have been the retrofit of the existing Claus unit or the implementation of a new smaller sulphur recovery unit to accommodate the reduced sulphur inlet to the plant.
